**STREAM OF UNCONSCIOUSNESS by Piscia
Highly unusual hurt/comfort vignette written in a stream of consciousness style which proves wonderfully effective. These are the rambling thoughts of a bard as she tries to recover from an injury with the presence of a warrior always part of her awareness. The piece has a fantastic feeling of tenderness and love to it. DO NOT MISS! - 1 pg., 11/20/97

WOUNDS, WORDS AND WISDOM by Piscia
This hurt/comfort story depicts the Xena/Gab relationship in a way that is particularly reminiscent of the TV show's first season, with Xena having trouble expressing her emotions and the bard holding on to the fear that the Warrior Princess will leave her behind someday. It is this fear that keeps Gabrielle from revealing an injury when she's hurt in a fight. This one will warm the heart. VERY nice! - 6 pgs., 11/6/97
